Refreezing fish/meat

Hello,

This may be a silly question but if I take meat/fish out the freezer and cook it can I then refreeze it.

I'm going to batch cook some meals for my 7months old and have bought frozen forgetting I need to freeze the meals

I'm not worried about loss of texture as it'll be mushed

Thank you

Yes, as long as you are cooking raw meat and then freezing it once it is cooked, it is fine. You mustn't freeze it twice in the same state (cooked or uncooked) if that makes sense.

Excellent, thank you
