What are you family favourites? Proper staple meals that are quick and healthyish. Seem to be eating the same meals over and over, meat, veg, potatoes. All well and good but very boring.

Roast dinner is the favourite (and I sometimes do it on a weeknight despite working full time with a 1.5 commute)
Spag Bol
Lasagne
Carbonara
Thai curry
Tacos
Fajitas

AutumnalTed · 19/02/2018 20:31

Thai curry might be nice! My DP HATES tomatoes so that rules out so many things. Although he did just eat shepherds pie, made with tinned tomatoes and said it was amazing so if I can hide them it’ll be fine! Just seem to have an abundance of sausages Hmm
Googling your suggestions Anawinter

My OH favourite is simplest sausage meal ever. Sliced potatoes, sliced onions, cut up sausages. Cover in stock, simmer for about an hour.

Ridiculously tasty.
And no tomatoes.

Chicken noodle soup. 5 minutes start to finish, I stick loads of veg in so it's lovely and healthy. Big French stick with butter to make it more filling if necessary!

Macaroni cheese from grandma's best recipes (it's a book) it has spinach in it too but you can use any veg like broccoli etc
