Has anyone used hello fresh/ gusto meal boxes?

Just wondered if anyone used these? Looking at getting a 3 day plan for our family just to try out some new recipes.

Any preference over each company?

New deal seems better in hello fresh (half price for 2 months compared to just 25% off gusto for one month) however with gusto you can pick the recipes. Children will try anything once so don't think that will be too much of a problem but OH cannot stand any fish dish!

We’ve been using Hello Fresh for about six months now. It works well for us - kids at university and we are both working, so no worrying about what to have for dinner three nights a week or faffing about with shopping - this also makes for fewer impulse buys in the supermarket. There’s no waste, so no jars of exotic spice pastes mouldering in the fridge for six months when you’ve only used one teaspoonful. The recipe choices are good with lots of variety and take 30-45 (relaxed) minutes from start to finish, with minimal washing up. I’d recommend it.

Am trying Hello Fresh for free this week thanks to a discount code. Sorry but I just don't see it's worth the money. It doesn't save time - the recipes are a right faff. I'd rather cook on auto pilot. £10 for a main for 2 people that you have to cook yourself - really?
I can only see that it works for those who can't be arsed to menu plan/ look up a new recipe if they feel like a change.
Much easier to write a menu plan sit at the computer and do an online shop.
I nearly wept at the thought of a delivery driver driving all day dropping off 100+ boxes.
The choice isn't great - tonights sausage chilli was interesting and the amount of spices that went in ensured it wasn't bland, but I wouldn't cook it again
Tomorrow is roast chicken breast which is going to dry out in the oven!
I think someone is making a lot of money appealing to people's perceived lack of time
