My DH has recently decided to eat meat again after 15 years but is feeling a bit unsure as to what to eat to 'ease' himself in so to speak.

He's occasionally eaten fish in the past.
any good suggestions?

Thanks

what does he like usually?

say, i fhe likes tomato based sauces you could make pasta with tom sauce and shredded chicken

basic fish in breadcrumbs

or if he likes cheesy sauces make fish pie

think abou tred meat later, unless he is gasping fora big juicy rare steak

I also started eating meat again after being veggie for a long time - about 15 years for me too. I was pregnant and somewhat anaemic. Then later on, when no longer pg, and I was doing the Atkins diet! I found I preferred the lighter meats to begin with lots of chicken breasts, maybe bacon, minced beef in chilli or as spag bol. The first time I ate steak it did feel very wierd indeed. Start with small portions of tender steak such as fillet (budget permitting!) rather than great big chewy chops or whatever. But I found it was amazing how quickly I got used to it and really liked it. I am actually now, some 5 years later, wanting to eat less meat again and feel like I've forgotten how to be vegetarian!
