Garlic bread

Sorry to ask for something that everyone else already knows, but is there a foolproof garlic bread receipt?

I'm a sheep and have decided to cook lasagne today after reading the lasagne post, but fancy garlic bread too. I've never cooked it before and find the supermarket ones a bit too crunchy or doughy, depending on if I've burnt them or undercooked it

But you can just mix butter and crushed garlic and stick in a baguette (slice almost through in slices and butter thickly with garlic butter,wrap in foil and in oven for a few minutes). Add parsley if you fancy to butter mixture.
