mozzerella

the way Mozzerella behaves when melted then cooled is just like cheese strings. Imaginge, mozzerella, melted, stretched outreally thing, then all the bits compressed back together into sticks - a cheese string!

I love 'em!

Can't decide if I prefer to
a) eat them whole
b) eat them string by string
c) make entire piece into lots of string and eat them all together.

There is something very very satisfying about peeling the strings off

Yummy Yummy!!

DD2 got very upset when she first had a cheese string as apparently I didn't do it properly. How was I supposed to know I had to peel it apart into little strands either end until she could hold it above her upper lip like a moustache? She just cried and said she wanted a cheese beard!
We got over it and now she just eats them.

Rachmumoftwo, what does an Atkins dieter smell like? Am going to live briefly with SIL who is on Atkins and now I'm wondering what I've gotten into.

I think they're made from playdough, compressed at high temperatures and then woven into plaits.
