My own fault; have bought several lightweight cheap hand mixers over the years. They don't last five minutes; the latest one packed up at the weekend because the beaters are too flimsy to cope with butter if doing shortbread etc. They bend slightly then jam. Can't afford an in your face kenwood £300 jobby; just want a strong, sturdy food mixer mostly for baking, whose beaters won't bend! Any recommendations?
