Hi All,
I live in UK.I am very new in the baking field.I just wanted to know which brand of red and black food colour (gel)is good as these two colours are the most difficult to achieve...
In Uk americolor is not available. So kindly suggest me which brand colour should I buy..
Thanks...

I like Wilton, which I get from Lakeland. Really strong colours.

Should add, I haven't tried black but the red worked well.

I’d never colour icing black myself. It’s near impossible.

I like the pro-gel colours.

Colouring icing, like cake, works better in deep colours than a plain white icing - so I'd start with a chocolate buttercream to try and get a really rich colour if you can.
