Thai red and green curry-which is hotter?

Hi, I used a (cheat) Thai red curry recipe kit from Aldi the other week and it was delish. Went to get another today and they only had the green version. The red was just about the right heat for myself and DP, is the green much hotter? If it is, how to reduce that? Extra coconut milk?

The green is generally milder. To spice it up add a couple of small red thai chillies.

In Thai cuisine green is the hotter curry. Guess it depends if Aldi knows this though Wink

Hi, thanks for your replies...made it last night and it was about the same heat as the red one - it was lovely! Thai recipe kit in a pouch from aldi- not sure how authentic it is but it's lovely.

They do as it's labelled on the packet as 2 spic
