What would you do with ham stock (that isn't lentil soup)

I have a lot of ham stock in the freezer from boiling a ham at the weekend, and some of the ham has been saved and frozen too.

I'm looking for ideas for what to do with it apart from lentil soup (which we still have some of in the freezer from our Christmas ham )

Any ideas?

Pea and ham? When made with proper stock it is delicious.

Presumably you've tasted it and it's not too salty?

Pea and ham is the obvious answer really, especially if you have some ham leftover.

It really it much much nicer cooked from scratch with proper stock than anything you can get from the shops

Use as the liquid in risotto. Make the white sauce for a chicken, leek & ham pie.

minestrone or its heftier cousin ribollita?

something beany would be lovely...maybe a cottage pie type effort with beans and ham underneath and mash on the top? Sweat some onions, celery, add ham and beans, tinned toms, stock....let it reduce and then slap on the mash?

I'm tempted to try pea and ham soup too, but I love Morrison's own and I'm worries it wouldn't like up to it!

Daisy I did check it before freezing and it's not too salty.

I use it to make macaroni cheese! Use half and half with milk in the white sauce, and mix with pasta and loads of good cheddar, with some little cubes of ham if you have any left. A touch of mustard is nice too. It's the perfect savoury delicious comfort food.
