Peppermint flavouring in ice cream

I've got a new ice cream maker and am. Very excited about trying it out. Not as much as 4yo DD is.

She wants to make mint - we only have Dr oetker peppermint flavouring not extract which all the recipes seem to call for - will it turn out OK or is she going to be v disappointed? Thanks

By all means use it. Remember that a little goes a long way.
