Any suggestions to use it up, dh doesn’t like overly creamy savoury stuff....

What about Blackcurrant cheesecake or blackcurrant mouse

UrbaneSprawl · 28/01/2018 09:08

Brown bread ice cream. Much nicer than it sounds and very easy to make without an ice cream churn.

Small pan of frozen peas, chopped onion, pour cream on and boil down. Delicious!

I would be making a big tray of burfi, but that’s just me Wink

Mash up some bananas, add a bit of sugar and cover in cream 😊

superram · 28/01/2018 21:47

Or freeze it.

iklboo · 28/01/2018 21:50

You can make your own butter with it.

Forget the black currents, they are frozen and can remain so. For the cream, do Nigella's Seville Orange Ice Cream. There should still be a few around for late Marmalade makers, and you only need three or four of them. It is very easy to make and very decadently delicious.
