Help me use up a jar of chocolate tahini.

I have nearly a whole jar of chocolate tahini in the cupboard that I bought one week in Lidl when they were havin a Greek week.

It’s quite bitter and not overly sweet. I’ve had a quick google for ideas but everything I find is more a recipe of combining chocolate and tahini not using the actual chocolate flavoured stuff.

I’m open to any ideas. Smile

Step 1: Hold jar firmly

Step 2: Open bin

Step 3: Place jar in bin

Step 4: Close bin

Use it in the recipes you’ve found for chocolate and tahini?!

Can you sweeten it with honey or maple syrup or something? I clicked on this thread because it sounds awesome - like Nutella only more natural and yummy - so disappointed to hear it's bitter. Is it just cocoa and tahini without any sugar?

Regrout the bathroom

There is a little brown sugar in it but it’s not really what I was expecting, I thought it would be like a sesame Nutella but it’s really claggy and doesn’t spread easily. It probably would work well on regrouting the bathroom!

I’ll have a go at the brownies, I have everything else for those in the cupboard so even if it’s a fail, I’ll have cleared the cupboards a little. Thanks furball.

I only found things like tahini and chocolate swirl something or other and an alternative peanut butter cups recipe.

might work for biscuits....instead of peanut butter, there's a 3 ingredient recipe which is PB sugar and egg, and it makes lovely biscuits

I used up my whole earth chocolate PB for biscuits cos that's really really not nice to eat. ...oily, greasy and like someone dropped a tin of cocoa in it. I do NOT recommend it.

If you mix a spoonful with a little water does it make it easier to spread?
