Hi just wondering if frozen pasta reheats well , I've got loads left over from tonights tea and I'll have some for lunch tomorrow but was going to put the rest in the freezer for another night but wasn't sure what it'd be like reheated from frozen. Is it ok? Thanks

It's fine - a bit soggy but totally edible - if you're not Italian!

Yeah it'll be fine. It's healthier too! There was a BBC article a while ago which said the starches are more easily absorbed by the body when reheated. Or something like that!

Oh brilliant thank you both! Even better if it's healthier, it might help me lose some weight Grin

I freeze lasagne all the time, but I'm not sure other pasta would taste very nice once defrosted and reheated?

I make myself homemade "ready meals" all the time.

I'm not sure if that's a nicer way of saying "leftovers" or not...

Microwaved frozen pasta is just as nice as most things my work canteen does.
