Ok, I've got my puff pastry. How do you think I can make cheese & onion twists like the ones they flogg in M&S's bakery dept?

Got as far as working out the onion must be fried gently in butter first, but where does the cheese go? Inside, outside, or both? And as I haven't got one here to look at, how do they cunningly 'twist' them? Is it just a bow with a twist in the middle? Thanks

I would just sprinkle the cheese on to pastry and roll it in. No idea re bows, sorry.

Doh! Yes, of course, why didn't I think of that. Sprinkle the cheese and onion on, roll it up - d'you think cheese goes on top too?

Yes and extra cheese on top.

Enjoy.

do you roll it like a swiss roll then

do you then stretch it like the beginning of pizza dough

do you then twist it like a ... like a ... like a twisty thing?
