QUICK QUESTION - re Salmon and pastry and pesto and stuff

right
was going to do the usual salmon in foil thing with herbs and chilli etc...

however, have spied puff pastry in the fridge along with pesto - I vaguely remember a recipe about putting pesto on the salmon and then wrapping in pastry etc ... does this sound right

and would 20-30 minutes suffice?

tia

I usually do the salmon brushed with butter and lemon juice, dh likes to add a bit of cheese, I think you can put the pesto on top. You need to bake at 200 degrees for 20 min, your right about that. We were going to do the same tonight, but dh is now making smoked salmon risotto.

well

I smothered the fillets in pesto (with added chilli oil for a bit of a kick) and then wrapped each separately in puff pastry, sealed and brushed with beaten egg and oven baked for 30 mins

was scrumptious!!
