Raw chicken in batter

Trying to batch make chicken nuggets.

Can I coat raw chicken in batter and then freeze them? Or is that a no go?

Well you could If the chicken hasn't been already defrosted but it sounds very messy and you'd have to open freeze before bagging or they'll all stick together.
Personally I'd cook then freeze. I'd probably crumb rather than batter too, but that's personal preference.
