Parmintier potatoes, can I parboil & freeze?

Dh prefers them to chips but I'd like to parboil, coat in lard & then freeze until needed.

It would save me a bit of time but would it still work?.

Yes! I've par boiled and frozen them successfully...but I do mine in a butter and oil mix, not lard.

Thank you!. I'm not a good cook so I like to check rather than waste food.

I have a cows milk allergy so butters out. We like lard Blush
