Would this be safe?

I cooked a pork loin in the slow cooker today.
I want to use the leftovers to make a casserole.
Would it be safe to make the casserole in the slow cooker or should I use the oven so that it is on a higher heat?

I wouldn’t worry if it was just me but 15m old dd will be eating it too.

Thanks

You could do either - both the slow cooker and the oven would heat the food to a high enough temperature to kill any nasties - and I'm assuming that the pork has already been cooked thoroughly today

Therefore, the more important factor is that you store the pork properly between

Thank you.
Yes it was fully cooked in the slow cooker today. That was why I wasn’t sure if I could slow cooker it again tomorrow.

It is safely in the fridge in an airtight container so should be fine storage wise.

Thanks again
