Fruit purée - do they freeze well?

Hi all!

I’m new to cooking baby food for my 6 month old & im looking for some advice on the storage of fruit purees.
The veggie purees freeze and defrost great so I batch cook them but not sure how it would work if I did it with fruits.
In particular the recipes I have are:

Peach Melba with baby rice
Pear yoghurt
Apple purée
Strawberry purée
Pear purée

They are all recipes from the cow and gate weaning book.

Thanks,

Lauren Smile

The pure fruit purées will all freeze fine - I have done this. Not sure about the first two though. But any pure fruit or veg puree should freeze ok.

Great thanks very much. I was worried incase when defrosting they would go a little brown?

From memory, the apple one might, very slightly, but not really noticeably. Strawberry and pear definitely didn't! I used little lidded pots which probably minimised exposure to air (I think that's what causes browning...).
