Smoked Salmon

I have an unopened pack of smoked salmon with a use by date of 31.12.17. Is this ok to eat? Can I put it in the freezer? Or just bin it...

Open it up. If it smells ok, it's probably ok. I'd eat it!

If it smells ok and doesn't taste funny then eat it. Don't put it in the freezer.

I'd eat it assuming it was sealed it doesn't seem off.

Would be nice with pasta, leeks and cream.
