I got one free, with loyalty points this week. I made fresh vegetable soup in it so far and it took 10 minutes and had lots of flavor. I phoned my mum for ideas and she looked out her old book. In it she found my grandmothers long lost and much missed Christmas pudding recipe! So excited about that. Mum used to bring the pressure cooker when we went camping and she made beef bourgignon. She also used it for stock-making and to cook potatoes quickly.
I heard it’s also really useful for Indian cooking, particularly daal. Also, syrup sponge(!)
