Egg and bacon pie

Hello,

I'm looking to make an egg and bacon pie but not sure on which recipe is best.

I've never made a pie before so any suggestions or tips would be appreciated.

I love making the hairy bikers version - google it, its on BBC recipes I think. Its really lovely and can be eaten hot or cold.

I came to say hairy bikers too! It's easy and delicious 😋

My dad would line a loaf tin with pastry, put a layer of bacon on the bottom and up the sides, crack eggs in until nearly full, lay bacon over the top, then top with pastry.

My sister and I loved it, my mum called it an abomination! Not had it for years, must make it sometime to see if I really liked it or just said I did as it was something Dad would make with me and dsis

I make one a bit like stoneage's dad! Try a few blobs of chutney in it and loads of black pepper... Delicious!
