Cooling down hot, hot jerk chicken dish

I made jerk chicken with rice and peas for family this evening and added too much chilli. My 4 dc’s are jumping up and down saying their mouths are on fire. It is hot and I have had to hold my tongue under the tap to cool it down. Is there anyway the chicken can be saved as nobody apart from dh (who loves hot food and the more chilli the better) can eat it?

Could you add some cream to it perhaps?

Plain yogurt or creme fraiche?

Sassy I have tried that and it did help to a small degree. I am so cross with myself.

Or even just add loads more rice and mix it all through to dilute the spices more.

Take out the chicken, put it in coconut milk overnight.
The rest of the dish, make the same amount of plain rice and mix together, freeze and leftovers.
