Leak/cabbage in sauce I can make ahead?

I was thinking I might do some sort of leek and cabbage in white sauce or cheese sauce for tomorrow. Does anyone have any idea if I can make this today and bake to reheat tomorrow?
Thanks

Cheesy leek sauce is usually better the day after I think.

Chop leeks, soften in butter, add flour, add milk until you get the consistency you want and add lots of cheese.

Yum. Also a pinch of nutmeg and some black pepper. It warms up fine (but you do need to heat it fairly gently).

Leeks in cheese sauce sounds nice. I think a white sauce would be too dull.

It will be fine. Or you could make the sauce today and prep the leeks/cabbage and assemble tomorrow and bake.

Don't do cabbage and definitely cheese sauce with the leeks.

Soften sliced leeks in butter & oil, then stir in some soft cheese. Add seasoning & whatever dried herbs you like. Tarragon is good

I'm going to do my leeks in cheese sauce and cauliflower cheese tonight. When I can be bothered.
