No oven or hob...

We have no oven, grill and our hob is barely working. We have a slow cooker and microwave and a big fridge/freezer. Can you please share some healthy meal ideas? Not big fish eaters. Missing my roasts!!

Slow cooker: pulled pork, meatballs, bolognese, soups. You can do a gammon in a slow cooker too.

Spaghetti and other pasta can be cooked in a bowl in the microwave. You can also fry onions etc in there. I’ve fried bacon hung over a cup. Potatoes can be boiled too in there, just cover with water. Unfortunately fish microwaves much better than meat. If you do eat it you can do a tasty pasta dish with frozen salmon microwaved and Boursin mixed in.

You can also buy a single electric hob for about £15 which is pretty worthwhile.

Mum also does slow cooker beef casserole and I do a tasty one with pork loin steak and leeks and carrots and cider and a tin of condensed cream of mushroom soup. You can also make one with chorizo and chicken and butter beans and tomatoes and onions and thyme in there.
