I've got 15 people to feed on Christmas Day and am working on Christmas Eve. I need to make a cheese sauce, I use the all in one method and add cheese at the end.

Can I make a couple of days in Advance and store in the fridge?

I've tried to google this but have only found suggestions to make it a few hours ahead.

I would think if milk well within use by date then yes no problem to make on Saturday and keep in fridge. If you are worried freeze it?

If it's for something like cauliflower cheese I can see how it would save time. I make mine in advance for that.

Yep. Have often done this. Stores fine in the fridge.

Thanks everyone I think I'll make it on Saturday.

Zzzzzz it's for cauliflower cheese and I need to make quite a lot so for me it will save time to make this in advance.

You could make it even earlier and freeze...I always make extra cheese/white sauce when I’m making lasagne or mac cheese to freeze. Tastes just as good second time around.

I was going to say it freezes well, I always make extra to freeze
