Nigella's Coca Cola ham

Is this pretty much true-to-recipe? For those who've made it before do you have any special tips?

No, I did as is and it was great.

I tinkered with it and it wasn't as good.

The only tip I have is too make it. We absolutely adore this ham.

Excited!! Just need some black treacle. It was missing in my Ocado order.

I don't do the crust she recommends but ham boiled in coke is standard fare in this house, especially on Boxing Day but we do it all year round too. It is lovely and moist.
