Yorkshire pudding challenge

I teach a class of young adults from several different countries. Next week we have an 'international food day'. It's a chance to share some food from your own country with the class. I had planned on taking scones or a Vic sponge... but then, amid shared glances and mutual nodding, one of them asked if I knew about an English food called "york-shy-er poodings". I admitted that I had heard of yorkshyer poodings. Their dearest wish is to try them.

The trouble is, i have no oven at work; I'd have to make them at home and they would not get to school until at least 90 minutes later. They'd be horrid by then I think. And also, well, plain yorkshires by themselves aren't that delicious.

Any ideas?

Make at home and wrap in layers of foil? Flask of gravy?

Have you access to a microwave?

Flask of gravy a good idea. Could even make bisto with the work kettle.

Yes we have a microwave. Can't imagine yorkshires micro well though do they?
