Is it just me.... Or is unsalted peanuts impossible to buy? I only ever see salted peanuts at the shop. Ive seen KP unsalted peanuts on mysupermarket, but they are around £2.50!!!! Can't be that hard to not stick salt on peanuts, surely?

Am I missing something? Cheers.

buy them from a pet-food shop.

Don't buy them from a pet shop. Those are second grade and may be contaminated with aflatoxins!!!!
I think I have seen them in Lidl before. Or try a health food shop.

Unsalted peanuts are surely quite pricey. If you search online, they are much pricier. Why don't you try out in a local store.

I saw some in Morrison's today. In the display of snack stuff by the fruit and veg if that helps. Redskins, but easy enough to rub the skin off if you need to.

Unsalted nuts for cooking purposes are in with the fruit and veg in my Tesco.

I usually find unsalted nuts in the baking section at my local supermarket, rather than the crisp section where I normally see the salted, snack type ones.

Tesco have monkey nuts roasted in the shell.

RavingRoo · 28/11/2017 21:09

Indian or Middle Eastern supermarkets. Can get unsalted that you should then roast yourself.

Holland and Barrett have big bags of redskin and paleskin unsalted peanuts. I use them for cereal bars

Thank you. I must have been looking in the wrong place. I only look where the other nuts are (usually near crisps, as said before). I'll look near the baking or fruit/veg area or try H&B. Thank you.
