Anyone got an amazing chocolate trifle recipe?

My DH and DDs don't like Christmas pud or mince pies so I have promised an amazing chocolate trifle for Christmas Day. Does anyone have an excellent, non boozy recipe?

You can leave the booze out and use the cherry syrup from the jar instead. It’s amazing!

Jaffa Cake Trifle recipe

we don't have a recipe from online just from what we have done over the years.
base of sponge fingers,brownies,bourbon biscuits in chunks.
then a layer of chocolate mousse.thin layer squirting of choc sauce.
thin slices of medera cake or Jaffa cakes.
then make home made custard or birds powder.
thin layer.then stir through melted choc to make it choc and add layer.top with whipped cream
grated choc,flakes,maltesers,fudge sauce.
sickeningly good.
