Is it okay to freeze dried apricots?

Bought a bag for DD yesterday then noticed it said to eat within two days of opening. She's only 7 months and doesn't eat much yet so there's no way she'll get through them all - and I think they're horrid!

I thought maybe i could freeze them - any reason why not? Thanks

I thought it was a bit odd - I eat dried fruit and never worry about it - didn't even think to check when I bought them. I shall indeed just pop a peg on the packet and not worry about it. Thanks
