Roller skate birthday cake

DD has after being let loose on pin interest decided she wants a roller skating cake for her birthday. (She really thinks I could take part in GBBO I definitely can't!)

Has anyone made a cake like this or any tips? I suspect it'll have to be a Madeira cake.

Does she want a skate or like a rollerskating rink?
You could do a big flat cake, cut it into a boot shape and use biscuits for the wheels? Oreos or similar?

I think the boot shape with biscuits is the way to go, thanks. I'm definitely not trying a 3D one as I think that's beyond me! DD is quite artistic unfortunately I'm not.
