Can I make macaroni cheese with spaghetti?

I generally finish it off on the oven with breadcrumbs and grated cheese but am worried I'll need to cut it into slices!

Yes, it needs more sauce to pasta ratio than macaroni though.

I'd make the sauce a little runnier than for macaroni cheese it will be like Spaghetti carbonara. Rather than baking it you could fry up the crumbs as tiny croutons and sprinkle on top.
