Reheating a fish pie from yesterday that contained frozen fish?!

Would you?

Quite a lot leftover and I'm very hesitant to chuck it as it was delicious, but will we all get the galloping trots?

Contains salmon, haddock and prawns, all of which had been bought fresh a couple of weeks ago but frozen until yesterday.

I'm not sure if you are supposed to but I've done it and lived to tell the tale.

It's fine as you cooked the fish.

WishUponAStar88 · 13/11/2017 13:03

I would just reheat it thoroughly.

I’ve just finished up the fish pie from yesterday for lunch! Had defrosted fish and frozen prawns in it. I nuked it in the microwave, so nice and hot. TBH - it was better today than yesterday!

I've done this and lived to tell the tale too. Make sure you heat it until it's really really hot all the way through

Whether the fish was frozen or fresh when you made the pie is irrelevant. Reheat thoroughly as you should with most things.
