How long can an uncooked pork joint be frozen?

As subject. We have a pork joint lurking in the freezer. It’s been there a couple of years. Is it safe to thaw n cook without killing the family now?

If cooked thoroughly it should be safe but not very appetizing. If it's been more than a year I'd just bin it.

It’s absolutely fine. If there’s any bits of freezer burn, cut them off before cooking, and make sure it’s thoroughly cooked through, so something like pulled pork would be perfect.

Frozen food will theoretically last forever from a good safety point of view. Quality will suffer, but 2 years? Yeah,I'd just roast it

Food safety, not good

Thanks all. Have decided to buy new for safety. Smile
