I'm pregnant and all I want to eat is aubergines, but kind of reached my recipe limit. Give me your best please.

This version uses roasted garlic. If you want a more tradional version, use crushed or very finely chopped raw garlic instead.

There's no need to do step 2 (salting the aubergines), as I've never met an aubergine that needed it.

I would use more than 1/8 of a teaspoon of harrisa. I don't use lemon juice in this recipe: I just stir in 1 tablespoon of pomegranite molasses.
