Hello. My DS (3) recently started school and I always provide fruit as a morning snack. This has worked for us and we vary between banana, Apple, grapes, tangerines etc. I've noticed the past week sometimes his poo is loose and today at Nursery he had 2 loose poos on toilet. I'm wondering if it is an overload of fruit and if I should maybe cut down a bit for a while.
Parents who provide morning snacks for their children for school, what variety of things do your children take? I may cut down on the fruit for a bit to see if that helps with his toilet problem.

Thanks!

One piece of fruit won't cause that. Is he eating way more than that at other times? He's probably just got a little bug or has eaten something specific that's caused it. A few loose stools doesn't mean you need to change his diet.

Carrot, cucumber, pepper sticks
Are there any restrictions? Here it’s got to be fruit or veg

Mine are fruit fiends and their bowels never seem to be affected.
