stale doughnuts?

DH bought a tray of doughnuts in the yellow sticker section at Asda last night. 12 in total. We all had one, but today they've gone quite stale.

I loathe wasting food - is there anything I can do to use them up? Would a doughnuts bread and butter pudding thing work? They are iced, but that can easily be scraped off.

Don't want to have to bin them, such a waste.

Yes it'll work, or as a bread pudding. Or just whack hot custard over them (with the icing on!)

Are they jam filled?

PoppyPopcorn · 24/10/2017 16:06

No - iced ring doughnuts. No jam or filling.

Microwave for 20 seconds and eat immediately (once risk of burns has gone).

Bread and butter pudding would work, out even a bread pudding if you scraper the icing off. Or scrape off the icing and use then to make French toast?

Yy to microwave plus custard.
