Can I freeze this?

I made a Beef and Ale casserole in the slow cooker today but there is LOADS left over, can I freeze the leftovers? I've googled but can't seem to find the answer, I used fresh beef btw, not frozen...thanks in advance

Yes it'll be fine. Wait until it's cooled then pop it in the freezer. Just make sure you desist it thoroughly and it's hot all the way through before you eat it.

Don't forget to freeze it in manageable portions though. You wouldn't be able to freeze it a second time if what you defrost is still too much to eat.

Good point LimpidPools I certainly don't want to waste any...the beef was so tender, it was lush!
