Hi Everyone,

Just wondered what your go to recipe is when everyone is eating at different times due to various after school clubs? We have two weeknights when we are all in and out between 4pm-9pm. I can prep something in day but just wanted some ideas please, nothing too spicy as got young children. Thanks Smile

If cooking some fresh pasta for each "sitting" was possible then you could do a big pot of bolognaise sauce and just heat it and cook some pasta OR you could serve it with baked potatoes that you keep warm in a low oven

Another one to think about is doing things like cottage/shepherds/fish pie, portioning them up into different serving dishes and then just putting them in the oven when required

Thanks Blondie.

Could you do something like fajitas? Cook chicken with sliced onions and peppers during the day and then it could just be pinged when needed and added to a wrap with grated cheese, salad, etc.

Beef and potato stew left in the slow cooker on 'keep warm' and then people just take theirs out when needed.

Pulled pork in the slow cooker to keep warm serve with crusty rolls, salad and coleslaw.

Frittata that could be served cold with potato salad.

Or our classic...beans and cheese on toast!

I think saucy things, stews, casseroles, curries, bolognaise, tagines are best when you need to eat at different times. Will either keep warm in the oven or slow cooker or can be easily reheated in the microwave.
I send to serve with mash, jackets or boiled potatoes or microwave pouches of rice, or for chilli with taco shells, wraps or tortilla chips.
Jacket potatoes with various toppings is the other go to.

Great options. Thank you.
