What's your favourite cottage pie recipe?

I make this ragu and top it with mashed potato with lots of butter and cheese. It's very delicious and children like it.

Mary Berry's cottage pie with crushed potato topping from her Absolute Favourites book. Although I usually use mash. I can only find a Daily Fail link so I won't bother if you can get your hands on the book it's bloody delicious the cottage pie, not the book

I make the Delia Smith one with leeks and cheese on top - so delicious!

Fry mince
Remove from pan -Drain reserving a little fat
Cook soffrito for 10 mins
Return mince
Add bay leaf, stock, small squirt tomato purée
Add one tablespoon small chunk Branston pickle
Simmer for 20-25 mins
Top with mash, make a pretty pattern with palette knife
Leave until ready to warm in oven for 30 mins
