I want to make homemade cheese.

I am struggling to find muslin! Is it OK to use the muslin in the baby section of supermarkets for cooking?

Many thanks.

Yes.

I use baby muslins for cheese making and various other culinary tasks all the time. Go for it.

They work absolutely fine, I've done it.

Are you making paneer?

YouCantArgueWithStupid · 18/09/2017 20:49

Is anyone in SE London or north Kent area selling a cheese fridge?

SherbrookeFosterer · 19/09/2017 10:01

Thanks for your answers.

Yes I am making paneer, if it goes well I might try making feta next.

Frustrating as you used to be able to buy muslin in Peter Jones, in the good old days when they sold other sensible things like replacement rubbers for your coffee pots!
