A slow cooker doesn't roast.

I'd be interested to know how too. For me, a good roast dinner is all about the crispy bits - crunchy roasts, crispy chicken skin, Yorkshire puds, parsnips etc and I can't see how you could replicate that in a slow cooker.

All of it in one slow cooker? That doesn't sound nice at all Confused

I'm sure there's a video on YouTube about this

I think those people may have a skewed idea of what a roast dinner is! I know someone who calls a chicken cooked whole a 'roast chicken' even when it's been poached.

You can't.

Get a beef joint, bung a few veg in the bottom (carrots, celery) put beef on, pour a glass of red wine over, salt and pepper. That's it.

Everything else in the oven.

I don't understand how people do a full breakfast in a slow cooker. Just looks like raw meat swimming in tinned tomatoes.

I did make enchiladas in the slow cooker once, and you can pot roast but it won't brown. Maybe they mean pot roast?
