Making veg chilli for dinner later in week - I don't want to just serve with rice

Any ideas (not baked potato either) ?

Nachos? Bake some tortillas, spread the chilli on top with cheese and jalapenos and melt under the grill. Or soft tacos with salsa and sour cream.

What type of veg chilli are you doing? A bean chilli or some type of fake mince? I have a bag of quorn mince in the freezer and quite fancy a chilli now.

Tortilla chips or wraps would be popular in this house.
Possibly sour cream, yogurt or cheese on top.

I made one yesterday and served it with guacamole, salsa, sour cream, grated cheese, flatbreads rice and jalapeños. It was a party and went down well with veggies.

Same as smother. Almost everything is improved by cheese, sour cream and guacamole. Refried beans are really nice too.

Baked sweet potatoes or sweet potato wedges go well with chilli.

Veg not fake mince

DH actually pulled a face when I mentioned it Grin

I hadn't thought of wedges! Thanks!

Spicy rice , tortillas, wedges, sliced/diced avocado or guacamole, refried beans, tortilla chips, jalapenos and sour crea, grated cheese. Put the chilli in a big bowl in the middle, everything else in bowls/plates and give everyone an empty plate to fill how they choose

We usually have chili (meat or veg) with potato wedges. Its one of our freezer fallbacks. Lots of smoked paprika in the chili, and grated cheddar.

If we have any in, some tortilla chips - just the plain supermarket basic ones.

Now (thanks to another thread) I've learned how to make instant flatbreads from self-raising flour and natural yogurt, we'll probably have those at some point when we've run out of wedges.

A decent blob of sour cream served with it always makes it tastier.
