Yes!

I would imagine it'll be a bit pappy when you defrost it though. I wouldn't be keen, and I freeze most things.

I don't like frozen pasta. It goes floppy and gloopy and a bit slimey.

PotteringAlong · 09/09/2017 18:27

I would like to add the disclaimer to my emphatic yes that I've never actually done it, I just know you can Smile

I would like to know this too! I have a pot of pasta 'salad' in the freezer which contains cooked chicken, cooked bacon and some other bits. Will it be OK to just defrost and eat or should I heat it?

isthistoonosy · 09/09/2017 18:28

We do and then cook it like a pasta bake with some extra cheese added.
Its not great but its ok.

MozzchopsThirty · 09/09/2017 18:32

Would I be better just keeping two portions in the fridge and eating them for lunch tomorrow & Monday?

Yes to keeping it in the fridge instead. I don't ever find it freezes nicely

Janek · 09/09/2017 18:34

Yes! (to the second question). Fridge/lunchGrin.

MozzchopsThirty · 09/09/2017 18:37

Thanks all will do

I think you need to know you are going to freeze before you cook to make the paste quite firm, and rinse the starch off so it doesn't turn to mush/slimy, maybe add a little oil to stop it sticking together too.
