Yum, have made this before, 'tis fab. MP I grow all my own herbs now as I was fed up of the waste buying those pots all the time.

morningpaper · 03/04/2007 20:49

fresh herbs....now...what am I doing wrong...everytime I buy them they just effing die within a few days, even thoug I am doing just what they tell ya on the packet...I know I haven't got green fingers...but really annoys me, as it just isn't worth me buying fresh herbs...sigh...never mind having a herb garden or windowbox, lol....

ComeOVeneer · 03/04/2007 20:51

Not from Waitrose, I have virtually the same recipe in a fish cook book

OrvilleRedenbacher · 03/04/2007 20:51

You asked me to come on the tuna thread but it's not exactly holding my interest. I think there are some problems over tuna stocks and sourcing of tuna I suppose. Lots of strong views held about tuna, I think.

Near my island is some of the best fishing in the world so if I ever get the time I want to be out there with my hook and line and a small boat.

Perhaps very little food on Good Friday is more in keeping though for a day of fasting and abstinence than delicious tuna steaks which is not really fasting, is it? The aim should be to make them as disgusting as possible I suppose if you want to ensure it's religiously correct.

Can't think of much else to say really on a tuna thread.

9/10 of fish caught are killed and thrown back in the sea. What a waste.

ssd · 04/04/2007 19:09

Xenia - you got an ISLAND??

3easterbunniesandnomore · 04/04/2007 19:18

just to diffuse this situation here, lol....anyone got an answer to my herb dilemma, lol...

Judy1234 · 04/04/2007 22:07

Yes. Women should work and then they can have such things. They are mostly just limited by limitations they put on themselves.

Islands are fun and not that much more expensive than you're average Spanish villa.
