Hi everyone,
I've come to ask for help! I have a toddler and a dh who loves his food but I'm struggling. Not with actual cooking but just knowing what to cook. I've been looking for a basic family cookbook but can't seem to find one. So I was wondering if you lovely people could all give me your fail safe recipies that you cook for your family. And the healthier (and cheaper) the better! If youcould just give me a couple of receipies then I can google the method!
Thank you so much! X

I don't really use many recipes but I'll list a few favourite meals here
Paprika chicken skewers ( chunks of chicken breast sprinkled with paprika, threaded along with peppers and courgettes on skewers, can cook in oven or on BBQ) serve with sweet potato wedges and salad.
Tuna nicois with tuna steaks
Tarragon chicken with red onion and mushrooms
seabass with puttanesca sauce and broccoli
veggie chilli and rice (made from veg and beans not quorn)
Caramelised onion puff pastry tart
Home made pizzas
Chorizo, pepper, red onion and mushroom pasta bake (tomato based sauce) top with cheese and breadcrumbs.
Lemon chicken traybake green beans and broccoli
Spicy chickpea burgers and salad
Spanish chickpea and spinach stew
Roasted vegetable, lentil and halloumi bake
Harissa crumbed cod with purple sprout
Crab and chilli linguini
'Use up all the random bits that need using from the fridge fritata' (probably need to find a shorter name for that!)
Butternut squash falafel with pitas and salad
Shakshuka

Then all the usual roasts, stir fries, lasagne etc

Got this from a magazine, was shocked how good it was:

Breaded chicken breast
Cover in jar tomato ragu
Mozzarella on top
Oven 30 minutes.
