Jamie's new series....

Anyone else watching? Honestly, I do like his recipes and, more importantly, his ideas. I find that a lot of his tips and hints are great and some of the things I've cooked based pn his recipes are pretty much standard for me now. I am loving the new series though even more than any previous ones and I'm looking forward to trying some of those dishes. Is anyone else watching? has anyone tried them? The yoghurt/ flour flat bread....?!

I'm thinking this book would be ideal for self catering holiday's - few ingredients, pretty fast and a bit special.

I haven't watched, yet, but the yoghurt flatbread is an annabel karmel recipe that we've been making for ages (yoghurt, flour, salt, herbs)

Sorry to derail the thread but did anyone notice his accent?
I've not seen any JO programmes in a long time and this was recently on in the background.
Where has his cheeky choppy cockney geezer gone??

(I liked the concept of the show, easy recipes Smile)

My 11yr old loves him. Have earmarked the book for her christmas too.

Yes it was the superfood family classics that have become a staple - 60 per cent has been tried and it would be more but there are various allergies at play

mommybunny · 31/08/2017 14:15

Thanks bling I knew that but was asking about "last book" referred to in friedeggs post.

WorkingBling · 31/08/2017 14:30

Sorry. Misunderstood.

I did like the look of those meatball buns this week, I will have to give them a go.

The rye cookies looked good too, so I'll no doubt try them at some point too.

I have been impressed how simple the recipes have been
