Saute Potatoes (I think that's what they are) How do I do them?

erm, that's basically it. I thought they were oven cooked slices, but all the recipes I see are fried. Have never done them or seen them being done, so, an idiots guide would be great thankyou!

I make them from cooked potatoes that I slice and then fry.

eeek, cook potatoes, slice then fry? I would have fried them raw

Thats how I always do them - I do it when i have cooked too many for another meal.

Partially boil peeled and halved potatoes for about 15-20 minutes. Drain allow to cool until they can be handled, or you can run them under cold water to cool them.

Cut them into bite size pieces/cubes then fry in a little hot oil.

I have, in the past put them into an ovenproof dish with a little oil and finished them off in a hot oven but you do have to keep turning them over.

ok, that sounds simple enough, thankyou! xXx
